Roger the Rooster

Roger the Rooster is the cheerful early riser of the Farmyard and takes his morning duties very seriously. At sunrise he greets Willow the Duck and Millie the Goose, checks whether Liam Lamb is awake and announces the day's first adventure with a proud song. One morning his call comes out as a tiny squeak. Rather than hide, Roger asks his friends to help make enough music to wake the farm. Willow taps the pond, Millie rustles her wings and Liam rings a little bell. Their unusual dawn chorus works perfectly. Roger learns that leading does not always mean being the loudest voice; sometimes it means helping everyone find their part.
